3. The basis and purpose of the processing of personal data

The processing of personal data is based on the customer relationship between Aito Support Oy and the customer and the customer's consent. In addition, personal data is processed for the performance of a task assigned by a public authority, for the fulfilment of obligations laid down by law and for the purposes of legitimate interests.

The personal data stored in the register are processed for the following purposes:

  • Customer relationship management, monitoring and development, customer relationship communication and marketing

  • monitoring the customer's payment behavior and work orders

  • To fulfill statutory and regulatory storage, reporting and enquiry obligations.

5. Regular sources of information

The main source of information is the Customer himself and, in the case of the Company, the contact person of the Company. Data may also be collected from public authorities or other third parties, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for the purposes described in this Notice.

6. Data retention periods

Personal data will be kept only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and processed or as required by law and regulation.

Data relating to the customer relationship will be deleted within a reasonable period of time after it is no longer necessary to keep it.

7. Regular disclosures of data

The data in the register is only available to Aito Support Oy.

As a rule, the data in the register will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law. Aito Support Oy has agreements with certain service providers who, as part of the service they provide, may process personal data on our behalf. Appropriate agreements have been concluded with the service providers to ensure the proper processing of personal data in these situations as well.

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted at the request of the user, unless the deletion is prevented by law, a contractual matter or the provision of a service to the person.

8. Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA

The data in the register will not be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

9. Principles for the protection of the register

Personal data in electronic form is protected by generally accepted and reasonable technical means in the industry, such as firewalls and passwords. Non-electronic materials containing personal data from the register are kept in locked premises, to which access by unauthorized persons is denied.

Only the Controller or a member of Aito Support Oy's staff acting on its behalf or a service provider involved in data processing on behalf of the Controller shall have access to the personal data processed in the register in accordance with the access rights granted by Aito Support Oy.

Aito Support Oy shall take into account the applicable legislation and regulations of the authorities and industry associations' guidelines on ensuring the confidential processing of personal data.

10. Customer rights in relation to the processing of personal data

The customer has the right to check what information has been stored about him/her. This request may be refused on the grounds provided for by law. The exercise of this right is free of charge. The customer has the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data concerning him/her. In addition, the customer has the right to request the erasure of data concerning him or her or to request the restriction of processing on the grounds provided for by law. To the extent that the customer has provided us with data himself, the customer has the right to receive such data in machine-readable form and the right to transfer such data to another controller. The customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if the controller has failed to comply with the applicable data protection regulation.

The competent supervisory authority for matters relating to the processing of the customer's personal data is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, Lintulahdenkuja 4, 00530 Helsinki, tel. 029 566 6700, tietosuoja@om.fi.

11. Cookies and statistics on the use of the website

Aito Support's online services use cookies. Cookies are data describing the use of an internet service, which are stored, for example, on the user's computer and can be used to control communication between the internet browser and the server. The user can choose to prevent the use of cookies by changing the settings on his or her browser.

Klarna Privacy Statement

We use Klarna as a provider of check-out services. This means that we may transfer your personal data in the form of contact and order information to Klarna when the transaction is loaded, in order to allow Klarna to manage your purchase. Your transferred personal data will be processed in accordance with Klarna's own privacy notice.
